Carl Jackson is an American producer and director known for his work in film and television.
In 2002, Carl Elijah Jackson launched Carl Jackson Entertainment LLC, which has since become a recognized powerhouse in filmmaking; theatrically and in streaming, globally.
The company’s portfolio boasts several critically acclaimed projects, including the DOVE Foundation-approved Southern Girls, featuring original music by Phil Keaggy, Blissful Lies starring Emmy Award-winning Leann Hunley, Carl Jackson’s The Jesus Freak (2017), Carl Jackson’s LAX (2021), Carl Jackson’s LAX 2 Paris, Love Solutions (2024), The Coopers: A Jesus Freak Drama (2025), I Am Ryan (2026), and The Well (2026).
In 2009, Jackson signed a multi-year production and distribution deal with Bridgestone Multimedia Group. However, due to creative differences, no projects were completed, leading Jackson to establish his own distribution arm. “Southern Girls” was the first film released under Carl Jackson Motion Pictures Studios in 2012. In 2018, he secured a six-year Digital Distribution Licensing Deal with FOX | Tubi, and in 2022, Carl Jackson Studios entered a multi-year, 10-picture deal with Buffalo 8/Bondit Media Capital, as reported by Deadline Hollywood. In 2023, the studio inked a multi-year, global streaming pact with Fawesome, amplifying its digital reach and positioning its content for high-impact visibility across international markets. And in 2026, Carl signed a mulit-year deal with Zoneify a streaming service accessible on all major American cable providers, including Xfinity (Comcast), X1/Flex, Cox Contour, and U-Verse. The deal covers movies, television series, Live events, streaming channels, and gaming.
